Adventures at our place

Our 16 month old dishwasher decided to up and die on us mid cycle the other day, allowing all the water to drain under our laminate floor. Luckily we found it before we went to bed! So, we are in the process of assuring everything has dried out (gotta love having two HUGE dehumidifiers and 4 commercial grade fans running in your house, with 4 kids turning up their volume to hear themselves over the humming!) Yesterday the restoration guys ripped out some of the floor to make sure we get everything dry underneath.

Lovely isn't it!


Maybe we should skip putting in new wood and just start a new retro grunge trend!
